While in Noosa I highly recommend heading down to the Noosa everglades and going on a kayaking adventure.

There are a couple of companies that will take you out to the everglades. I went with Kanu Kapers. See there website below:

    https://www.kanukapersaustralia.com/

The were excellent, provided a great lunch and gave you a good run down on the area.

The everglades are located in a tropical wetland and are only 1 of 2 everglades in the according to the visit Noosa web site.

Have fun, this is an excellent paddle.

Directions to launch the kayak at Noosa Everglades.

Google Maps Link. A good place to launch the kayak is at Elanda Point. If google maps doesn’t point you in the correct direction follow the instructions below:

Turn right at Tewantin School and follow the signs to Boreen Point (about 20Kms from the school).

Elanda Point National Park Canoe Launch Area Car Park- 204 Lake Flat Road
At the approach to Boreen Point take a left turn into Lake Flat Road and follow the sign – Elanda Point 5km.
The road takes a sharp (90 degree) left turn at this point – TURN Right onto the dirt road – you will see the sign “Welcome to Cooloola”.
Travel down this dirt road for 1.3KM then turn Right at the sign “Canoe Launch” and you will see the Kanu Kapers vehicle to start your kayak tour.
