Anice Falls, Royal National Park
Anice Falls is located in the Royal National Park. You have 2 options for your bushwalk to Anice falls. The first option is to start at Costen Point fire trail. This is the route displayed in the map below. From this point the walk is approximately 8km return. As you walk down the Costen Point fire trail the bushwalk trail to Anice Falls is only about 100-200 meters on your left. The track isn’t that easy. When I did it it was fairly overgrown and you had to fight your way through the bushes in parts. However I did like how close the shrub was. In places you had a 10 foot wall of shrub on either side of you. This isn’t for everybody but I did enjoy it. It’s a 4km trek to Anice Falls. Then you head back in the same direction.
The other option is to head down Mount Bass fire trail. This would be a slightly smaller walk at around 6-7km return and a lot easier. I have mountain biked down Mount Bass to the Anice Falls and Winifred Falls trail.

So if you don’t wont to fight your way through shrub this would be a better option for you. Going down this route you have the added bonus of being able to see Winifred Falls as well. That is it would be more achievable seeing Winifred and Anice Falls from this direction. From Costen Point fire trail the return walk to Winifred starts to get on the lengthy side.
The tabs above contain maps, photo’s and a youtube clip of the walk.
