Inspiration Point, Blue Mountains

The walk to Inspiration point in the Blue Mountains is a short easy one from the Fairmont Resort. It’s around 3-4km’s return. From the Fairmont Resort car park walk past the tennis courts and head towards the Leura Golf course. On the right side of the golf course walk for about 200m until you come across the 14th tee. At the 14th tee you’ll see a NPWS signposted track. Follow this track until you see a sign pointing to Inspiration point. Inspiration Point offers 2 lookouts. One at Gladstone lookout and one at Moya Point. When I was there the tracks where well signed posted so it’s hard to miss.

The lookout is excellent and on par with Echo Point without the crowds and hustle and bustle. There are no fences or guard rails. So watch out for the edge of the cliff. You get great views of the valley and surrounding cliffs. If your staying at the Fairmont Resort and just want to go on a short walk I highly recommend this one.
