Deep Pass Canyon, Newnes.

Deep Pass Canyon walk would have to be one of the best bushwalks I’ve even been on. Don’t be deceived by the short distance. Going through Deep Pass Canyon will involve quite a bit of rope work. Without the ropes in place it would be quite hairy going through a few sections of Deep Pass Canyon.

The sun finds it difficult to get to some parts of the canyon floor which results in a very slippery surface. You need to watch your footing and I’m speaking from experience as I went ass over tit.

There’s waterfalls and some excellent waterholes to have a swim. The water is very refreshing. That’s a nice way of saying it’s bloody cold.

I had no hesitation in rating this 5 stars.
