The drive through the Daintree rainforest up to Cape Tribulation is a must do activity if you find yourself up in far north Queensland. There are plenty of places to stop on the way offering, sensational lookouts such as Alexandra Lookout,  beach stops, and some amazing food. The Daintree ice cream company is well worth a visit. The WHET cafe nestled amongst the trees is one of the many excellent cafes in the area.

Once in Cape Tribulation you’ll find the Dubuji Boardwalk opposite the Boardwalk Cafe. This is only a short 2.2km walk offering an amazing sample of the Daintree rainforest. The walk loops through the forest then down to Myall Beach for some breath taking views. You then make your way back to the Boardwalk Cafe.

This is great if you have kids as boardwalks have been laid so you don’t have to tread through the mud.
